The branch of dentistry that deals with diseases of pulp is called endodontics. Endodontic therapy is the process of root canal treatment which is aimed at the removal of the infection. By proper procedure, we manage to cure the patient's tooth and to save it in the jaw and of course to free the patient of pain.

Diseases of the dental pulp are complications that arise as a result of untimely treatment of dental cavities. Dental pulp reacts to infection with an inflammatory process which is manifested by the appearance of a toothache. Also, trauma can be a common cause of injury and inflammation of the dental pulp.
